BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICIES

Privacy
Your privacy is very important to us. We collect your personal information such as your name and telephone number in order to book your appointments. We know how annoying it is to get junk mail so we will never disclose your personal information to any third party.
Appointments
At TapLook Nails & Spa Salon, we gladly accept walk-in clients. In order to avoid disappointment and wait times, we strongly recommend booking an appointment at least 24 hours in advance so that your desired times can be reserved. If you would like to schedule an appointment that is less than 24 hours from the time of booking, please call the salon at (825)343 8998, and we will try our best to accommodate.
Group Bookings
Being a small business with appropriate paid staffing, a $25 deposit per person is required at the time of booking for groups of 4 or more to hold the reservation. The deposit will be applied towards your service. 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your group reservation. This allows our salon enough time to fill the appointments. If you cancel within 24 hours or “No Show”, your deposit will be forfeited. More than two “No Shows” from the same party will result in not being able to book with us in the future.
Appointment Arrival Time
In order to have the best experience, we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to ensure there is plenty of time to check in, use the bathroom, and choose from the vast range of colours available. Services begun late will be shortened in consideration of the next client.
Late Arrival
We utilize every minute of your appointment to ensure that your nails are perfect. If you think you will be late for your appointment, please call ahead to the salon at (587) 523-1288 and let us know. Your late arrival may limit our ability to offer the fullest possible experience. Please be aware that late arrivals will not be guaranteed extension of scheduled services. We will try our best to accommodate you the best way possible and will make every effort to make alternate arrangements, however, we reserve the right to shorten or reschedule your service in order to keep the next client’s service at their scheduled time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule and a 50% deposit of the reserved service will be required.
Cancellation
Your appointments are very important to us, and it is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes scheduled adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we respectfully request that you give at least 24 hour notice of any cancellation and rescheduling. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service. Rescheduling promotional or otherwise discounted services may result in a loss of that promotion or discount.
No Shows
We understand life happens, however in order to accommodate everyone in a timely manner, if you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, without contacting the salon to cancel, you will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. Clients who no show on more than one occasion will be required to pay a 50% deposit of the reserved service before any appointments are booked.

Children
We love children at TapLook Nails & Spa Salon, however, due to sharp tools and solvents being used at our salon, it is your responsibility to supervise your children at all time when getting services done. Our staffs are not equipped to provide childcare.
Prices
TapLook Nails & Spa Salon reserves the right to modify, discontinue or change services and prices without notice to ensure the maximum standards and quality are being met. The final cost of service applies to the service provided and not the original quote. If the scope of work done is different from the original quotation, then the final costs will change accordingly. If you have any concern about the agreed price, please let our team members know prior to service.
Promotions
K Nail Salon run various promotional offers throughout the year, date and time restrictions may apply. Offers may not be used in combination with each other. K Nail Salon reserves the right to cancel any promotions running at any given time.
Gift Certificates
TapLook Nails & Spa Salon gift certificates are available for purchase on-site at our salon. In accordance with regulations set by the Government of Alberta, gift certificates are not subject to expiry dates or fees that lower the value over time. Gift certificates are non-fundable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or other gift certificates. TapLook Nails & Spa Salon will not accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift certificates.
Payment
We accept Cash, Interac Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and TapLook Nails & Spa Salon gift certificates. Gift certificates must be presented upon arrival for your appointment. Cheques are not accepted. Gratuities are appreciated.
Service & Refunds
We take pride in, stand by and guarantee our work at TapLook Nails & Spa Salon. We do not offer refunds or credit on services or products already being rendered. We do not offer refunds or credit because you have simply changed your mind. If you are unsatisifed with the service provided, please inform your technician or the manager while you are still at the salon. We will re-do or remove any service for you if you are unsatisfied with the quality of the work, provided that you tell us immediately after we have performed the service that you are unhappy with the quality of the work. Upon payment of your service, we will deem that you have accepted and are happy with the services and quality we have provided.
Right to Refuse Service
TapLook Nails & Spa Salon reserves the right to refuse treatments; disrespect and rudeness towards TapLook Nails & Spa Salon staff will not be tolerated.
